The problem
Anything that helps a parcel get delivered on the first visit, or tells the hub early which ones won't.
"Tell me before 9am which twenty parcels on today's routes are going to fail, and I'll do something about those twenty."Hub supervisor, Sharjah
What the business feels
- Merchants judge EMX on on-time delivery and returns.
- Failed attempts drive a large share of customer contacts.
- Nobody knows which failures were preventable.
What we don't know
- How much is address quality, timing, cash behaviour or the courier.
- Whether risk is visible at label time, at route build, or only on the road.
- What the right intervention is.
Constraints
- Anything operational must land before vans leave at 09:00, or at label creation.
- Couriers have a basic Android app. Supervisors already have four dashboards.
- Addresses and notes mix English and Arabic.
Where you could go
- A morning risk list with a reason and an action per parcel.
- Scoring or repairing addresses at label creation.
- A "why your parcels fail" view for merchants.
- A pre-delivery confirmation flow, with an estimate of what it saves.
